what is the DEI background?

  • In a country like India, which is gifted with diversity at its core, inclusive culture is critical for people and businesses to grow and thrive.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion has now become a ‘must have’ culture than a ‘good to have’ culture.
  • With the rising importance of Diversity & Inclusion in every organization, it is important for individuals to engage with each other and share their best pioneering experiences in fostering the culture of Inclusion and Equity.

The aim of the India’s 20 Most Influential DEI Leaders is to:

  • Showcase individuals who are charting the path ahead for the development and proliferation of this culture.

  • To Showcase their achievements in a systematic manner and recognize the trailblazing work done by them

Process:

  • Transformance will be reaching across to individuals who are developing the culture of D&I as well as individuals who are implementing innovations in D&I within their organizations for self-nominations or to nominate individuals who they feel need to be featured in the list.

  • For Self- Nominations there will be request for details

  • For nominated individuals – Transformance team will reach across for verification of qualifying details and work done

Nomination Process:

  • Nominate For Others


Selection

  • The selection is done by a panel that includes members internal and external to Transformance.

  • The list will be finalised primarily based on the criteria of the leader’s current / future impact on the Diversity & Inclusion ecosystem in India.

  • The list will of top 10 Influential D & I Leaders (alphabetical wise and not ranking wise).

  • Honourable mentions in the top 10 list for those whose work is exceptional but could not be accommodated.

Where will the list be featured?

  • We will unveil this list on 20th January 2022 during our “4th Edition Diversity and Inclusion Summit & Awards”
  • List will be announced in social media platforms
  • A narrative on the leaders who are there.
  • A follow up articles on the featured members in the list and their achievements
  • Digital Publication / Coffee Book Print as a possible follow up to the list
